The eco-friendly island is powered only by battery or solar, and due to its secluded location there is no wifi on Wilson Island, allowing guests to switch off from the outside world and truly feel at one with nature. An unimaginable variety of marine life surrounds Wilson Island, making it one of the best snorkeling locations on the Great Barrier Reef.

Aldesta Hotels has been dedicated to rebuilt Wilson Island as one of a kind seven-star luxury camping resort and restore it back as one of the 10 best islands on the Great Barrier Reef. We want to make an effort in showing the world we are the destination to see the most beautiful coral cays on the Great Barrier Reef. Aldesta has ordered a brand new vessel to be built and is currently under construction for future transportation between Heron Island and Wilson Island. We will develop a more recreational program and better facilities for the guests. We hope Wilson Island Resort will give all the guests an exceptional experience.
